Jennifer Doloski adopted from Ukraine in 2012 and 2016. When she was asked to help get tactical gear to citizen combats fighting in Ukraine’s war against Russia’s unprovoked aggression, she agreed to do so, but needed assistance in financing the shipping costs. It costs more than $300 to ship one ballistic vest to Poland, and so far, Jennifer and her brother, a retired police chief, have had more than 400 donated. Donations are shipped to Warsaw, Poland and delivered across the border into Ukraine. Jennifer asked Reece’s Rainbow for assistance in providing a secure, trustworthy location for donations to be made. Funds will be disbursed as she provides Reece’s Rainbow with shipping receipts/bills. Any funding remaining at the end of the campaign will go to the orphanages of Mykolaiv, Ukraine, where Jennifer’s boys are all from.

Isaac’s Buddies was created in celebration of Isaac, who was adopted from Ukraine in 2020 at the age of 10. Isaac was listed on Reece’s Rainbow for over 7 years before his family found him, thanks to an advocacy post on Facebook, and decided to commit to bringing him home. He went from being a bedridden, malnourished, withdrawn, stiff little boy to being a happy, thriving, and cherished son, brother, grandson, friend, and student. We know this is exactly what every child deserves, but this is something that hardly any children with profound special needs will get to experience. We hope to help change perceptions, to advocate for these kids who are at serious risk, and to be a support for families who need it.

This ministry was created specifically to help the absolute most vulnerable and overlooked children, and anyone trying to bring them home. Isaac’s Buddies will be fundraising via Reece’s Rainbow in order to provide matching grants to families who are adopting children with the most complex medical needs, with a special focus on older children. More information can be found at isaacsbuddies.org where homestudy approved families may apply for a matching grant.

$500.00 is currently available in Isaac`s Buddies fund.

Our Family will be hosting the 7th annual Griffin’s Run: Dash for Down Syndrome on March 21, 2020 – the walk/run will be 3.21 miles.

This walk is held to help raise awareness for Down syndrome and to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day. It will begin in the open grassy area on the 200 block of Delta Avenue in downtown Clarksdale, Mississippi at 8:00 am.

All of our proceeds to benefit Reece’s Rainbow, a non-profit adoption organization that helps place children from around the world with Down syndrome and other special needs with their forever families. They help raise money for families who want to adopt a child but might not be able to financially accomplish this on their own.

Thank you in advance for helping a child receive the gift of family.

Multi Family Adoption Auction: it’s actually just that simple. Each month I will help host an auction for multiple families, each family will receive their own album that they have full control over!

At the very end of the auction, once monies have been paid, all the families will donate 10% of our winnings to be used as an adoption matching grant, with one of the families being selected via a random drawing app! The family will then raise the amount awarded so that our matching grant will make it double! All this means is, every dime you spend in this group will be used to help with the families adoption expenses!

I’m starting this group as a way to fully help and give back each month to the adoption community, building this group will mean more potential buyers to help these families!

$0.00 is currently in this fund.

When we brought Zeph home in 2022, at 2 years old, he was so weak and malnourished that he couldn’t hold his own head up. He has gotten so much stronger in the time he has been home, but he has needed all kinds of medical and mobility equipment. So Zeph’s Little Cakes was born. We started selling boxes of cupcakes to fund the therapies and equipment he needs.

We know that all children belong in families. We know all children have the right to access medical care and physical therapy. We have LOVED seeing the support of our local community as they have bought our cupcakes and supported our little Zeph, and we want to extend that support to the greater adoption community. We will donate 10% of the proceeds of each of our boxes to Reece’s Rainbow. The funds will be used as adoption grants for children with Down Syndrome and other special needs.

Every year on World Down Syndrome Day, we will also sell a special cupcake box and 100% of the proceeds of that box will go to Reece’s Rainbow.

$1,202.80 has been donated towards the cost of our adoption!

It is hard for us to imagine a life without our two incredible children. To us, it feels like they have always been “Hickeys” but, reality is, they both spent many years as orphans.

There are currently millions of orphans worldwide waiting to find their forever families. Children who are worthy of so much love, just like Sofija and Tadija.

While we know that any child is worth far beyond the financial expenses of an adoption, we also understand that finances can be a barrier standing between a child and a home. We hope to build up a waiting child’s account to help break down this barrier and bring them home to a loving family. Reece’s Rainbow has been an incredible resource for our family as we navigated both of our adoption processes.

In honor of Sofija’s 7th birthday and Tadija’s 6th birthday we ask you to join us in making a small, tax-deductible donation that will be donated towards a waiting child’s account. Your support is greatly appreciated!

$200.00 has been donated to this special birthday fundraiser!

In March 2022, as a result of the invasion of Russian military, 2 orphanages were evacuated out of Ukraine with millions of other Ukrainian refugees. These 46 orphans, along with 4 caregivers and the caregivers’ children, were then moved to Italy, where they are currently housed as refugees. The orphanage was evacuated quickly, so the children and staff left with just the clothes that they were wearing.

A group of supporters, lead by an attorney in Ukraine, are working to provide the children with supplies to meet their basic needs. Medications and other needed items have already been collected. The children currently need clothes for spring/summer, hygiene items, and other basic necessities.

Thank you for your support!

When I first discovered Reece’s Rainbow in 2010, I had no idea then not just how much of an Impact I could have, advocating for orphans with special needs. But after 13 years of advocating: the kids; the families; & the advocates have blessed my life more than I can ever imagine. I started as a young 18 yr old thinking, “What could I do to help?” It’s my birthday wish this year, as I’m thankful for all that God has blessed me with, to continue impacting & helping so more orphans can join their forever families.

$265.00 has been donated towards the cost of my adoption!

Whilst adopting our daughter with special needs from abroad, we were privileged to meet and fall in love with many beautiful children with Down Syndrome in her orphanage.

The conditions they have to endure, even against children with minor or no special needs are terrible, and we decided that when we came back, we would try and help as many children with Down Syndrome as possible who are waiting to be adopted find their forever homes. We spent five months in the orphanage with our five year old son, and he decided he wanted to do a bake sale to help his new friends from the orphanage when he came home to the United Kingdom.

His school is kindly allowing us to host a bake sale on World Down Syndrome Day to celebrate the special friends he met, and help him raise awareness and funds for this very important cause.

We will also be donating 10% of everything we sell through our business (minimumworld.com) on World Down Syndrome Day to help a family adopt one of these beautiful children.
