NEVAN for the Neri Family — NY

The Neri Family is returning to Bulgaria!

Their adoption journeys have had many twists and turns but they are excited to be returning to Bulgaria for 2 amazing little boys.

Joe and Jenna live in NY and have 5 daughters ranging in ages from 6-21.  The 2 youngest, Stella and Amelia, were both adopted internationally from China in 2018 and Bulgaria in 2023. They have also been in process for another little girl from China for over 4 years. This has been a heartbreaking and difficult journey with the shut down of China adoptions due to Covid. Before learning that China shut down their international adoptions permanently, Joe and Jenna had already begun to update their home study to bring home another little one from Bulgaria. They are heartbroken about their daughter in China and grieving the loss but feel that God is opening other doors for them with these 2 little boys. Both of the boys they will be bringing home are from the same orphanage as their daughter Amelia and they know that these boys need a loving home as soon as possible.

We are overjoyed to be able to be adding these children to our family. We ask for God to guide us in this journey and they continue to pray for the daughter that they will not get to bring home. We thank you for your prayers for these children from different parts of the world, and the hope that our family will be together soon.
