BETTY and VICTOR for the Lewis family — NH

Seth and Beth Lewis are adopting a sweet little girl and a spirited little boy from Eastern Europe.
Adoption was always something they felt passionately about—Beth’s dream as a child was to have an orphanage. They met during college and bonded over their enjoyment of music and education and both loved teaching kids in both classroom and private settings.
They got married in 2016, thinking they would have biological kids and adopt later on. When having biological kids became elusive, they decided they did not want to wait any longer to adopt. While sifting through adoption programs in various countries, they came across a profile of a little boy with amputations on Reece’s Rainbow.
Beth’s heart tugged for him as she helped care for her younger sister who had just undergone amputations. Beth and Seth decided to pursue adopting that little boy. While it turned out that he already had a family committed to him, Beth and Seth are grateful for how he helped them decide on a country and get the process started. A wide-eyed little girl first stole their hearts and now they are committed to a tenacious little boy as well.
