A BOY for the Abbott family — WI

Hello! We are the Abbott Family. Our family was blessed with the addition of our 5th child, Isaac, on February 19th, 2023. Soon after his birth we learned of his diagnosis of Down Syndrome. During those early days while we were learning what Down Syndrome even was and how we could help our son, we learned of a family with a nearly identical story that was also blessed to have a son with Down Syndrome. After their son was born, they felt called by God to adopt a little boy with Down Syndrome from Ukraine. The seed for us to adopt a child with Down Syndrome was planted in our hearts and minds, even though we would have never considered it prior to Isaac being born.

Fast forward over a year, we feel God has pressed His will on our hearts to adopt. Our family of 7 is incomplete. We believe we have a son in Armenia with Down Syndrome that is meant to join our family. We want to see God work through him to be able to shine a light so bright to the world around us. We can’t wait to see the miracle that is thousands of miles apart from us right now. We are ready to bring him home! We don’t know the specifics yet, but we are trusting God through this, and we know that He will continue to make each step known to us. God bless!
